We are a new Colombian/ New Zealand owned Spanish Language
School that offers non-native Spanish speakers an entertaining place to
interact with skillful teachers and other students, the Colombian culture
and people in a friendly and safe environment.
We started this school because there are really few good places to learn
Spanish in Medellin, You options are limited to two Universities, EAFIT or
UPB and the language school Nueva Lengua. While the two universities
are good options they are not at all flexible with times or start dates and
will often not start until they have a group of several people. Also the
costs are around 19.000 pesos an hour. Nueva Lengua is a private
school and the prices are a bit to high also. They charge up to 30.000
pesos per hour.
We offer the best price at 20.000 pesos per hour in private classes,
12.000 pesos in group and the most flexibility. You chose your own start
times and we fit around your schedule. You can take one hour of classes
and if not satisfied you can end it at that.
We use a wide range of original material and also many universally
recommended Spanish Language grammar and help books.
You do not have to stay at the Black Sheep Hostel to learn with us. We
have numerous students who are staying in other hostels, or homestays
or have found apartments in the city to rent. If you would like some help
with accommodation we are only to happy to help.
